About Us

AsiaZeolite, AZ™ is an Indonesian joint venture between Asia Zeolite (Singapore) Pte Ltd (70%) and its Indonesian partner PT. Citra Investama Anugerah (30%) which signed a zeolite Contract of Work (CoW) agreement with the Indonesian Government on 20 July 1994. The Company is focused of high quality zeolite at its mine quarry and onsite 100,000 tonne per annum processing facility located on the southern coast of Sumatera Island. With its close proximity to international ports AZ™ are strategically placed to supply clients within the fast growing East Asian marketplace.


Our team of zeolite experts come from a wide variety of backgrounds and areas of geological expertise. We approach every project with seriousness, professionalism, and energy, and bring all of our skills to the table every time.

Naturally occurring Clinoptilolite (Zeolite) forms where volcanic rocks and ash layers react with alkaline groundwater, and belongs to a large zeolite group called heulandite family, volcanic minerals with unique physical and chemical characteristics. There are more than 50 natural types of zeolites. This safe, non-toxic inorganic material can be described as a “molecular sieve” because of its porous structure, and provides a myriad of commercial benefits and applications. From medicine to construction use, the uniquely positive properties of zeolite are many fold.

The AZ™ Deposit

AsiaZeolite, AZ™ started commercial operations at its South Sumatra mine site in June 2023. It has exclusive mining rights for 33 years as per the CoW agreement , to exploit one of the world’s largest and purest deposits of Clinoptilolite (Zeolite). Based on historical drilling resource amounts likely exceed 100 million tonnes. Quality of the AZ™ product is maintained by an onsite laboratory testing facility with daily batch CEC testing and XRD analysis of active mining faces.
